Our camp out of the month will be to Fort Casey. On this camp out we will be letting the scouts take over in order for them to get their
Camping merit badge. On this camp out we will need all scouts to bring Hobo dinners and dehydrated meals for lunch, and breakfast items if you have been asked to bring them. for Breakfast we will be having what we call meat lovers pancakes with oranges. Scouts are all accountable for the ten essentials which include:
- Sun protection
- rain protection
- trail food
- map and compass
- fire starters
- first aid
- Pocket knife
- Extra clothes
- Flashlight
- Water
Remember warm clothing it may rain and be cold. Our activities will include working on the camping merit badge, ultimate Frisbee, bocce ball, touring the fort, and capture the flag, and predator vs. prey. This is also an opportunity for some of the older boy to revisit one of their most favorite campsite. For the boys, here are some pics from the last visit to Fort Casey
